Welcome to the PromptShield community! We’re glad you’re here. These guidelines help keep our forum a productive, respectful, and safe space for everyone.
Be Respectful
- Treat others the way you’d like to be treated
- No harassment, discrimination, or personal attacks
- Disagree constructively — focus on ideas, not people
Stay On Topic
- Post in the appropriate category
- Search before creating a new topic to avoid duplicates
- Keep discussions relevant to PromptShield or document privacy
Protect Privacy
Never share real personal data in forum posts — use sample data or redact sensitive information- Don’t share your license key, API key, or payment information publicly
- Report any accidental data exposure to the moderators immediately
Quality Posts
- Write clear, descriptive titles
- Provide context and details (version, OS, steps to reproduce)
- Use code blocks for code and log output
- Mark solutions as “Solved” to help others find answers
No Spam or Self-Promotion
- Don’t post unsolicited advertisements
- Share tools and resources that genuinely help the community
- Affiliate links and referral codes are not allowed
Security & Compliance
- Report security vulnerabilities privately to security@promptshield.ca — not in public posts
- Don’t discuss methods for circumventing anonymization or de-anonymizing data
- Respect intellectual property and software licenses
Enforcement
- Moderators may edit, move, or remove posts that violate these guidelines
- Repeated violations may result in temporary or permanent suspension
- If you see a problem, use the flag button — don’t engage in arguments
